Tracer’s Perpetual Pools V2 Security Audits

Highlighting the key audits and CARE’s of Perpetual Pools V2

Untitled (2).png

At Tracer, security is of the upmost importance. We only deploy our smart contracts to mainnet once they have passed through many layers of scrutiny from the best auditors in the business. We believe that it is the fundamental right of users to be able to feel safe while interacting with Tracer’s products, and all of our actions reflect this core belief.

Tracer’s Perpetual Pools V1 has been live on Arbitrum mainnet since September 2021. During this period, our contracts have enabled over $650M USD in trading volume without experiencing a single hack or exploit - a testament to our commitment to build safe and secure derivatives infrastructure for the decentralized economy.

We take security very seriously; and our audit process for our V2 Perpetual Pool contracts is no exception. When the V2 contracts go live on mainnet, they would have passed through three pre-audit CARE’s and three separate professional audits by Runtime Verification, Spearbit and Sigma Prime respectively.

Please note - CARE stands for "Comprehensive Audit Readiness Evaluation." CARE is not a replacement for a security audit, but is intended to happen before an audit so that protocol code becomes ready for future audit(s) to get a better security outcome from the process.

The results of each CARE & audit can be viewed here:
